Suggested Uses for Sore Muscle Support Magnesium Lotion: Apply to a large muscular area of the body, ideally one that is causing discomfort. Depending on the area of the body, I prefer to apply it before bed, or when wearing clothing that I am less fussy about, as this lotion tends to “sit on top of” the skin for a bit longer than a lotion designed for hydrating skin. Once it soaks in I don’t find there to be greasy residue, but it needs 15-30 minutes to work it’s magic.
